According to Gartner, as referenced in the Market Guide for HIP-Enabling Technologies, 2017 (Published: 29 June 2017), “Organizations undertaking some form of digital strategy are asking for huge transformations in how IT is delivered within their organization and beyond. A pervasive approach to integration is essential in enabling digital transformation.” “Organizations with an outcome-focused integration strategy, based on the hybrid integration platform (HIP) capability framework, are more productive and enable more agile application portfolios.”

It mentions Torry Harris as notable among the Core HIPET Representative vendors who provide a full life cycle API management suite that helps “publish, promote and manage the usage of APIs, frequently in the cloud or on a scalable, on-premises environment.”

Torry Harris helps businesses use APIs to securely connect and expose assets across devices and channels. The company has been consistently enhancing its API-o-Blocks product suite to address all steps of the transformation exercise within enterprises. With the addition of “IoT Glue”, it now addresses integration challenges related to non-standard protocols and transformation in the IoT & IoE world.
